Protecting your privacy
We are committed to providing you with the highest levels of customer service, which includes protecting your privacy.
We take privacy seriously: we are compliant with Australia’s SPAM legislation; and are also members of the Australian Direct Marketing Association (ADMA).

This privacy policy statement is designed to tell you about how we collect and use information.

Why we collect information
We collect business contact information in order to invite delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors to attend the conferences and events we organise. We only include business information, including: your name; job title; job function; company name; company address; company telephone and/or mobile number; fax number; email address; the industry you work in; and your area of interest.

How we collect personal information
We collect business information in a number of ways, including:

  • you give us your information when making an enquiry about a conference and/or completing a booking form and/or attend one of our a conferences or events;
  • when we call you to ask for permission to post or email information and/or a conference brochure
  • when we use publicly available sources of information, for example, when you have included your name in a members directors in which we are also members
  • when we buy or rent lists from reputable list owners and brokers – we only use SPAM compliant lists

How we use your business contact information
We use your information to promote the business conferences which our company organises. We promote our conferences via direct mail (post), e-mail, fax and telephone. We never sell, rent, loan or transfer our database, without your prior consent, so you can feel secure that your information remains confidential.

Opt-outing
At the bottom of all our emails and mailings, we include details about how to unsubscribe/opt-out. Alternatively, if you do not want to continue receive post and/or email from us, please let us know by sending an e-mail to admin@acevents.com.au with the words ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’ in the subject line

Period of Grace
Should you request that we amend or suppress records containing your information, we will endeavour to do so as promptly as practical; however you may receive communications for a transitional period whilst we process your records.

Do we use cookies or email harvesting software?
No – we never do!

Help us to ensure we hold accurate information
We take all reasonable action to ensure that the information we collect and use is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information you provide. That's why we recommend that you:

  • keep us up-to-date with changes to your information such as your name or address; and
  • let us know if there are any errors in your information.

In order to keep up with changing legislation and best practice, we may revise this Privacy Policy at any time without notice so please check back periodically so that you are aware of any changes. This policy was last modified in March 2010.
